With 3 GPU's you would need alot of processing power to run them, as well as, whatever the game (present or future) will demand of the CPU (physics and such)

OP: With the amount of money you plan to spend, and considering you already have high resolution (triple-wide is my guess, U3011's?) you would be better served to either reduce your budget and go with a 2600k clocked to 5ghz OR wait for Socket LGA2011 next year, depending on when you will need the PC.

i say do 3 gtx 560 Ti 2GB

at higher resolutions you dont need more than 8x AA and those can handle it

You can't run 560ti in Tri-SLI.

Not to mention his budget is 5500, 580's are the way to go...

Tri-SLi is not possible on 560 Ti. 560 Ti is limited to two way SLi.
