What do YOU use your tablet for?

Thread Starter
Well, just curious to know what people here use their tablet for.

Name your tablet, features you like and dislike about it.

And of course, what you use it for!

I have the Asus Transformer 16gb model.
Its still stock and updated to 3.2.

Pros:
Beautiful screen
Great apps(mycloud + desktop streaming)
Games while traveling
Back feels great while holding :]
Fast, I wonder how much more fast it is when overclocked.
Durable, I dropped this baby once on the screen side, and not 1 scratch on the screen :]

Cons:
After holding for a while, feels kind of heavy.
Audio on mine has a little crackling sound once in a while
Auto restarts rarely but still annoying.
Gets hot on the back if using a cpu heavy application

I mainly use this for browsing the internet if I don't want to use my desktop or laptop. Play app games, and watch streams of starcraft 2 or soccer games, quality seems to be weak in the beginning, but turns out to have good quality streams after it gets settled in.

Overall, I love my tablet, and use it daily biggrin.gif

Edit: Didn't see this thread till after i posted. doh.gif

I dl Mango, which is the BEST app for manga. It downloads mangas and allows you to read them offline on the bus or wdv. My Asus Transformer also makes for a very good typing machine on the bus as well.

My Tablets include:
iPad 1
Samsung Tab 10.1 (gone)
Asus Transformer w/ dock (incoming)

Both android and iOS tablets have their pros/cons. The iPad has the apps. Android has the OS. My Tab 10.1 was nicely thin and light, but lacked ports. That's why I traded it on XDA for an incoming transformer. However, if your looking for a stand alone android tablet, hard to beat the Tab. The screens on all of these devices has been great. Never thought I'd say it, but I'll miss Touchwiz on the Tab 10.1.

Tablets have completely replaced my netbook. They do everythign it does, but better/faster. They also take up much of the web browsing from my desktop, unless is heavy multitabbed browsing. Video/podcasts are also an exclusive tablet activity. News reading isn't completely off the desktop, but it's getting there. I also use DeskSMS to send texts through the Tab.

For streaming video, try Plex or Emit.

i use a BB playbook.

my company gives me a BB so playbook seems like the best option to own one.

Speakers are the best and beats all the tablets in sound quality.

web browser by far is the best out of all platforms despite lack of apps, but that will change soon when the QNX platform gets an android emulator to access the android market. THEN ITS APPS GALORE!!!.

haters gonna hate.

FLAME AT ME BRO!

The playbook won't ever get official access to the market, and when it does get unofficial, there will be problems (there always is, apps missing and such), and it will be the phone version of the apps. What the playbook will get officially is an emulator that can play apps that android app devs can submit to blackberry app world.

iPad 2. I use it in the bathroom as well but really I take it with me just about everywhere. Mainly YouTube, web browsing, music, and games. It's better at that stuff than even my laptop.
