AI Suite II vs RealTemp

Thread Starter
Hi all, I found that these 2 program generate 2 different CPU temp result.

On AI Suite II - 28

On RealTemp - 38 37 36 37

This is 10 degree difference, how those two programs measure CPU temp?

Which one is more accurate in real tems?

I wouldn't listen to AI Suit II. It often likes to warn me that my motherboard is at -48C centigrade and that my CPU's voltage is 0.0v. RealTemp is a great program and is usually very accurate. Try using hwinfo or coreTemps and see how they compare.

Also, there is actually a section in your control panel in which you can enter your system specs for others to see. A bit more organized than just having it as a signature smile.gif

I think AI Suit shows the case temp where as Real Temp shows the core temp. I always go with Real Temp or Core Temp.

AI Suit II actually reports the CPU and motherboard temperatures. It is a very buggy program though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's screwing up the report.

AI Suite is the worst piece of software I've ever encountered. It constantly crashes on startup, doen't let me stop it from starting up and won't let me uninstall it.

Type in msconfig in the start menu search bar and press enter. You'll be able to prevent it from starting up as well as stopping any AI Suit II services you don't want.

EDIT: If you're on XP then select run and type msconfig in the dialog.
