I 2nd this. I had a DJ setup with $500 a piece turntables and a $400 mixer, not including the stereo... I was constantly paranoid about it getting stolen. There was one shady kid who saw me carrying the stuff up to my room the first day and wanted to know my room #. He didn't ask my name or try to get to know me, he just wanted my room #...
My roommate sold pot so there were always shady people dropping by as well. I was always nervous about my stuff.

I'd just take a laptop and an external HDD or two and be done with it.
I 2nd this. I lived in a co-ed dorm along with several hundred girls. I didn't hook up with a single one of them because I was still dating my high school GF who ended up cheating on me a year later anyways... If only I could go back... I wouldn't waste 1 second playing stupid video games.Edited by Epitope - 8/9/11 at 11:03pm
