PS3+PC on one monitor?

Could I do that? I have a 2333SW so it only has 1 DVI input, I was wondering if I can get like a splitter and have my ps3 and my pc connected to it and be able to switch back and forth?

I know you can buy HDMI switch boxes. My friend has a similar setup, with his PS3 and PC hooked up to a HDMI switcher and then the monitor. I'm having a hard time finding DVI ones. I found one but it only supports up to 1600x1200 resolution. Maybe you could use an HDMI switcher and a DVI to HDMI adapter?

The real question isn't how can you play your PS3 and PC on one monitor... it's how you're going to have sound with the PS3. Unless your monitor has built in speakers, you're kind of screwed.

Ps3 will output sound through RCA if you tell it to, even when the HDMI is connected. Adapters for RCA are really easy to find.

I'd suggest a HDMI switch as well... They are cheap at monoprice. You'd just need a total of 3 HDMI cables, and one HDMI> DVI adapter for your monitor. The one that came with your video card works great if you kept it. You just screw it straight into the DVI port on your monitor, and it turns it into an HDMI port .

I have both on 1 monitor, but PS3 through HDMI port and PC through DVI...
and I have speaker integrated... so I just plug my output to my 2.0 speaker, switch the channels between DVI and HDMI and I'm set...

I use a Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM
