The black edition doesnt have leds and the rubber coating is on the sides while the top is smooth. The 3.5 has leds, glossy sides, and rubber coating on top.

Any deathadder is a good deathadder. it is EASILY the best mouse I have ever used (have used over 20 different high end mice over the years) and will recommend it to anyone, a thousand times over. I use a Qck pad from Steelseries, as i like thin cloth mats. Like i said, the deathadder is the way to go, they constantly upgrade their firmware so you dont have to worry about bugs, if you DO find one, expect it to be gone within the month, and their customer supper (razer) is amazing. (where do you think i got my username?? ;])

Honestly the prediction on the G400 is so minor, and the jitter is non existent without the software installed.

Get a G400 or Zowie EC2 with a Puretrak Talent (for more friction) OR the SteelSeries QCK Heavy or QCK+ (Same size, less friction)
