Done with watercooling -_-

Thread Starter
GPU is still not getting cooled .

Im using my Sig rig and my GPU temps are reaching 70-100c and thats not usual.

I reseated the waterblock 5 times, changed tim, changed loop order, drain and re filled the loop like 10 times.

Cant go RMA the GPU because the warranty was broken by removing the original heatsink

Guess im going to go buy a cheapy NVIDIA 5xx GPU and stick to air cooling my GPU.

(Ive tried everything. And I cant even rma the waterblock because i opened it to see if anything was clogged, it wasn't. !!!

Have you checked the pump? Is water being pumped through the gpu block?

Either the block or rad is full of air.

The tim is too thin or thick

flow rate is too low.

What fans are on?

Can you take a photo of the setup incase its something daft we can pic out?

So you give up? Clearly something simple is wrong... List all your water parts, is this a first time loop? What have you checked to make sure its working properly...?

As to your gpu, just put the stock cooler back on....

Basically that without the 120rad.

Ive done every possible change to try to fix it. It may be the GPU thats broken.

and , I lost the original heatsink, btw.

I had my CPU in the loop too. The temps were fine. and my loop order is Res/pump -> RAD -> GPU -> CPU -> RES/Pump. So if the flow was bad, the cpu would be affected, yes?

To add to the above. Did you put the correct thickness of thermal pads in the right places? If it comes with the separate standoffs make sure they're all correctly positioned (they're a real pain).

Yeah I did. And I know the GPU and Waterblock are making direct contact

Does your card report various temperature as well as the GPU itself? You can use GPU-Z to check them. Are they all high or just some of them?

look at mine mate.. i dont have any problems..

I had massive air-pockets in my gpu, you might have the same. The Rasa750 pump should be able to take that block easy.

Well I know that a single 240 rad with a cpu and gpu block will not be enough, but if you are hitting 100c then something is wrong. How are your cpu temps?
