My first Intel build :D - Page 2

As for the RAM I'd recommend Crucial Ballistix, Mushkin Blackline, Patriot Viper, G.Skill Ripjaws/RipjawsX/Sniper series.

The G.Skill Sniper are quite cheap and OC very well. I don't know much about OC capatibilities of others.

:O really ? Alright then i guess rams are mushkin blacklines then ! Now.. to find a retailer.
Also, what are the possible or fastest timings that have ever been recorded on these memories and whats the benefit of overclocking them ?
Also will there be any improvements in cooling if i was to go for liquid cooling ? like a basic 2 fan radiator set-up and a koolance cpu block ?
Oh yea is this a fast system or a meh... system ?

Not really, you want to use low voltage dd3 with Sandy Bridge, so make sure to pickup 1.5v (or lower) chips.

yes SB prefers 1.5 or lower but 1.6v RAM WILL work.
the upper limit for SB is 1.65.
