Hi and welcome to My first FAQ.
I Have seen this Question asked on these forums so many times and thought it would be good to make a FAQ on the subject.
First of all you will need ATI tool
The lastest Stable version is 0.26 You can find it here.

The Lastest Beta version is 0.27 beta 15. You can find it here.
ATI Tool 0.25 Beta 15
NOTE: This Temperature Monitoring Feature of ATItool also works with Nvidia Cards
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, Open the ATItool shortcut on your desktop or startmenu.
You will see this

Click on Settings in the bottem left Corner and this will pop up

Click on the Tab that is currently labeled "Overclocking" and Scroll down to Temperature Monitoring.
Tick Measure Card Temp. And then the Current/Average temps will be shown in the ATI Tool Main window.
The current Temp will also be shown beside the Windows Clock in the taskbar when ATItool is running.
