Just as a bit of added info, since I was swapping out my son's HD 5770 (900 core) today for a HD 6850 (850/1150 which is a bit below a 6870), I deceided to do a couple very quick benchmarks since I was curious. Take from it what you will.

Q6600@3.4Ghz
Heaven @ 1920x1200 4xAA, 8xAF, Normal:Tasselation, High

5770 - Score:408 16.1fps
6850 - Score:668 25.3fps

Crysis WH
Gamer Settings, 4xAA, Average fps listed
5770 - 23fps
6850 - 36 fps
