Temp problem?

Thread Starter
Ok I posted this in the end of my other thread, but no one reads the newest post, just comments on the original question. Anyways, can anyone give me any thoughts on this, I think its running hot. My room isn't exactly cool at the moment, the ac died. It's getting replaced soon. Anyway After running Prime95 in Blend mode for an hour I had a max heat of 60c. Is this too much? Just idling I am running at 33c currently. Also I should mention that the OC numbers were generated from the Performance option in the EZ mode setting in the Bios.

Is there anything I should change? Ram speeds or timings or anything? I am pretty new to this so any input would be appreciated.

I have some pic's for you to see how I have my fan's set up and so forth. 2 of them, The Thermaltake and the Corsair aren't as fast as the 3 Coolmaster's I have. I'd like to switch out that case and move to the corsair 400 series or 500 series, and fill it with more of those Coolmasters.

60c at load for a 1090t is very good, nothing to worry about if it bothers you that much you can underclock it but whats the point. Nice system by the way.

So I plan on getting a bigger more open case, and fit it with any more fans than what I have. Is heat to much of a problem so far to turn it up to say 4.0GHz? I had it up last night, but I got scared of the temp going past 60 and turned it back down. Like I said, max temp I noticed at 4 was 65.

That's a good temp for max, maybe a little high with water cooling but not a big deal. My 940 @ stock gets up to ~67C in Prime95 "only CPU test" and idles ~40C. I have an odd air cooler though and part of the heat stays in the case.

Nice, well I picked up the HAF 932 chassis, and now I am idling at 28c. So I guess the bigger fans and whatnot brought it down about 5 degrees. I can get it up to 4GHz no problem, I just thought maybe it was too hot. I will give it a shot and re-post.
