HAF X fan question

Thread Starter
I have two top fans on the top of the case, and I was wondering if switching the one in the front to intake instead of exhaust would increase my cooling ability.

This is how I have mine HAF 932 set up.

Front and side fans as intake, rear and top fans as exhaust.
I have tried other intake and exhaust positions, but this one give me the best results.

The 230mm fan in the front is supposed to be an intake fan with the two 200mm on top as exhaust, so to answer your question, yes it will be better

Most people prefer to have all fans on top as exhaust, because "heat rises". However, you won't know for sure until you've tried! Spend the 30 minutes to reverse the fan and compare temperatures under load before and after, and you will have answered your question definitively.

normally the idea is to bring in new air as fast as possible and to extract hot air as fast as possible, so that conf. just makes sense, my SNIPER has the same conf. as xxjay247xx

Leave both fans on top where they are, exhaust.

You can try and reverse the back of case fan as intake and see if that changes anything.
