well now this person is saying they cant help me, does anyone know who to talk to in asus to get any help and or a phone number or email address for nearest rma centre

update: awaiting rma from asus, after a relentless battle they sending me another.
found out that the original owner received it that way but had another brought for him and couldnt be bothered go through rma, he said he started but they were trying to blame him for damage.

well on saturday i got my board back but im in a mood as i got it to work.

i went to my local maplins for a flux pen and some solder and a crocodile clip (snap snap) and used my heat gun that i use on my ps3's
didnt even use the solder but will come in handy just heated up the area on 350 celcius for 30 seconds in a side to side motion and left to cool.

so after having travel for a am3 processor as my 8650 wouldnt fit i tested today and all is working was close to shaking hoping it didnt bang.

now im unsure if to keep the crosshair 5 or my extreme

See, I told you it's not a big deal.

Crosshair V all the way because you'll be severely limited with your Crosshair Extreme when Bulldozer comes out.
