stock voltage for radeon hd 6870?

im overclocking it and upped the voltage a little but apparently if my monitor doesnt freeze i dont need to up the voltage

the stock voltage for the radeon 6870 (considering the reference model saphire 6870) is 1.175v

maybe you should read more in detail the tutorials about overcloking video cards. if you mentioned "my monitor doesnt freeze" in relation to "the overclock is stable if my pc dont crash at the desktop with the video card idling" then you might had skipped some crucial steps on how to make a sucessful overclock.

Only do a volt bump if it fails a stability crash like OCCT.
