If it's in good shape, then that's a great price. Make sure you fire it up and check it out first if you can. They're pretty dependable, so I would look for cosmetic blemishes that can indicate if it's been treated roughly. If not, I would think it would be in good shape internally.

I just picked up my third from Dell and thought I got a good price at $255. You're going to love it.

Just my 2c worth...hope it helps,

Rich

Awesome, also do you know if Dell requires a receipt for RMA purposes or do they just go by day of manufacture on the Receipt

Hi,

I'm also interested to buy this Dell U2311H. I have few question about this monitor:

1. I heard they had 3 revision: A00, A01 or A02. Which one is better?
2. I'm curious is this monitor a LCD or LED?

Thanks for you attention..

Later revisions are usually better, but all in all, it's mostly the individual you get that you should pay attention to, not the rev

The monitor is LCD. Technically LED is just LCD with LED backlighting, while "LCD" is with CCFL backlighing. However, do not take that as a downside. That means less backlight bleed, no blue tint in dark scenes. And more natural looking colors. And since this is a high quality screen, it's also much much brighter than most LED displays out there (if you set it that way) and has more vibrant colors than pretty much any non IPS LED.

All three of mine are A01. From what I've read, there's not a lot of difference from one revision to another. I've had 2 of them for about 6 months, and I got the third last week.
2. I'm curious is this monitor a LCD or LED?
It's an e-IPS LCD. Dell is supposed to be releasing their new models soon which will be WLED. The U2412M is already on their site, and is supposed to be followed by the U2312HM and U2212HM.
Thanks for you attention..
Hope this helps,

Rich
