Gigabyte H67N-USB3-B3 overclock ability?

Thread Starter
I know it's a mini-itx board, but it still might have some overclock abilities.

Anyone have any experience with this board?

microcenter link
Gigabyte link

I probably won't even overclock, but it would still be nice to know if it could

H67 cannot OC past stock turbo multis. The highest I have seen is 40x on one core

IIRC you can overclock, but not as high as you could if you went with P67
post #4 of 15
i have the board sitting on my desk at the moment, ready to be paired with a 2500k.

i just ordered a silverstone sfx 450w psu and li lian pc-q11, few minutes ago.

i was thinking i could use
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/90...140120-BK.html

to put a h50 on the front. but don't have that yet.

Probably won't get around to it til next week though.

i guess we will be exploring together..

yup. I've got all my parts except my case, that is coming with the same PSU you bought.

Can't wait. I'm using the sugo, I was trying to do this on a budget, but still fit my GTX460 inside if needed.

And I have the same CPU as you, this is going to be exciting! Except I was planning on using the stock cooler, since I am on a budget, but I may use a H50 if the case allows.

It looks like it doesn't support OC'ing.
I'm going to wait for the Z68 ITX boards like this one

Yeah i don't have the H50 At the moment. for the time being probably use a stock cooler until i can get my hands on a entry level watercooling.

I think they skipped P67 in favor of Z68.

Correct, two are already out on Newegg. One of them uses regular DDR3 memory, and the other uses laptop memory, but has a GTS430 onboard.
