I think you are right but when has that ever stopped someone on OCN before?

One can mount a mATX mobo in a Dell Dimension 2400,3000,4600 and B110 case like this one:

If you're living in a dorm and lock your door when you leave you're not going to get robbed... I'm sure your college has campus police. I live in the middle of Atlanta where people get robbed all the time (a few of my buddies have gotten robbed walking alone late) but people never actually get robbed IN the dorms or close to them because campus PD are everywhere at night.

If they were going to rob you they'd probably take the PC regardless of whether it looked good or not.

I was thinking the same thing. There's a difference between a cheap/tacky, custom/gaming oriented case and an OEM or basic PC looking one. Most of the cases you guys are linking too are pretty tacky looking, but instead of looking like a basic PC, they just look like bad taste gaming PCs.

Try this. It's not total garbage and doesn't look gamer/tacky.

If it's too small and you need ATX and not mATX, there was an an ATX version, but unfortunately, I'm not finding it anymore. There is this, which may be ever so slightly more potential custom looking.

The first one looks more basic/deceiving though.

Add a black floppy drive to it (don't even need to hook it up), and profit?

You want a truly BAD looking case? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811164013

Still has enough cooling for a decent rig though. Rough it up a bit. If you can, stick a compaq or gateway logo sticker right over the front LEDs. Instantly unstealable

Oh. and make sure to put a pair of floppy drives in it. NOTHING says crap like two beige floppy drives.
I vote for this one too. Don't forget the blow torch, nothing says "keep it moving" like scorched side panels/fan openings. They may not take your computer regardless of what case it's in, but having a blingy computer can attract the wrong attention and make you a target for theft (not just your computer) as they search for what else you got.
