Why? Because despite being ugly, they're ONLY ugly. They're still build like (old and outdated) gaming cases.
I was thinking the same thing. There's a difference between a cheap/tacky, custom/gaming oriented case and an OEM or basic PC looking one. Most of the cases you guys are linking too are pretty tacky looking, but instead of looking like a basic PC, they just look like bad taste gaming PCs.
Try this. It's not total garbage and doesn't look gamer/tacky.
If it's too small and you need ATX and not mATX, there was an an ATX version, but unfortunately, I'm not finding it anymore. There is this, which may be ever so slightly more potential custom looking.
The first one looks more basic/deceiving though.
Add a black floppy drive to it (don't even need to hook it up), and profit?
