Anyone heard of Accent Accoustic spearkers

Thread Starter
Considering buying a new 5.1 receiver and speakers in the nearish future. I can get a fairly good deal with some nice sounding speakers, the only trouble being I've never heard the brand Accent speakers.
Wondering if anyone has owns or has even heard of them before.

Cheers.

Any link you can provide? Where are you getting these from?

The first thing I thought was white van scam as well...

Don't think that's the case since they're from a major retail chain. However no-one having even heard of them therefore unable to give reviews has pretty much made up my mind.
Thanks.

You couldn't be more wrong!!!

David Fabrikant is one of the most HONEST guys in audio design and his loundspeakers are UNMATCHED at their pricepoint. He hand selects/matches each driver and even includes an FR reading that's hand signed before he ships each speaker. Look at his published measurements! They are not smoothed and use a 5 dB scale and measure off axis. He really lets his balls hang out! and look how FLAT they are!!!

They are called Ascend Acoustics not Ascent Acoustics. Dave also sells/distributes Brian Ding's Rythmik Audio Direct Servo Subs. They are the best subs on the planet for the money less the BFM's DIY Tuba series.

Dave of Ascend Acoustics also designed one of the BEST bookshelf speakers I've ever heard called the Sierra 1. The finish is also top notch on those with a beautiful bamboo finish hand done by an outfit that finishes one famous guitar manufacturer's product.

BTW Dave's speakers blow the doors off of any box store Polk product.

The Amazing and rather FAMOUS (in audio circles anyway) Sierra 1 !!!

Thanks.
Dave doesn't sell to retail chains as it's internet direct only so they are some kinda ripoff trying to use the Ascend Acoustics name. Please PM me who they are as I'm very curious.

lol. How the hell am I wrong? I know who David Fabrikant and Ascend Acoustics are.

Just because a company has a similar name doesn't mean they are ripping anything off - they could just be some not well known Australian brand.

I don't understand... If you know who Ascend Acoustics are why didn't you suggest the OP might have got the name wrong!?! It's only off by one letter. That name is also arguably to close to the copyright holders name. The patent/copyright office wouldn't allow that...

The OP is in Australia. I am not familiar with what is available there and thought it was possible that there would be a brand with the name - and since it turned out he was going to get them at a store it appears that is their actual name. If I had suggested the OP had gotten the name wrong and told him it was Ascend, I would have been incorrect, just as you are:
