SSD issues~ still freezing up

Jumped into SSDs like everyone else and decided to raid0 them on top of that. I started to get freeze ups hours after windows installation so I applied some fixes:

An entire reinstall of windows making sure I downloaded drivers correctly along with intels rapid storage crap. YAY, no more freezing...until hours later

Freezing again AND all over the fricken place:

I googled out some resolutions online having to do with power issues that SSDs werent able to cope with. Now the freezing stopped all over again with that adjustment to the registry.

Now it freezes in my games still once in a while. ***? should i just RMA these things and get real HDDs? or should i look for more solutions? Cuz this is ticking me off!

My only though is this; have you checked to see if you have the latest firmware? I recall reading about some sort of freezing activity prior to the latest update with the M4's.

No problem! And just to back-up my thoughts, I searched through some reviews to spot this to solidify my idea.

Pros: This is a fast SSD, doesn't freeze and worked prefectly after the update. Bought this with some email promotion they gave me and it came out to a little over 200 dollars, which isn't too bad a price.

Cons: Have to install a firmware update or else it will continually freeze as so many have put it (0001 > 0002).

Other Thoughts: A lot of people talk about the freezing and crashing, but if you just install the firmware update to 0002 then everything will run like butter. In Windows 7 I would have had to change some settings in the bios for my comp to acknowledge its existence, but instead i re-installed win7 altogether onto the ssd and the load times are impressive to say the least (10 sec). This is my first SSD and is probably one of the best investments I've made for my machine thus far.

okay i read whats been changed, Electromagnetic Interference margins which i take it to be interference with other nearby components and LPM.

Ive manually fixed the LPM by disabling it entirely in windows and that leaves me with the EMI stuff which is basically the same issue with LPM so I dont think the update will do much more for me. Any other ideas besides firmware anyone? any tweaks im missing?

Mainly just the firmware update. It fixes the freezes you've described. Have you applied it yet?

You're probably getting lots of freezes because RAID-0 is doubling them up. Your drives work together, so whenever one drive or the other gets confused, your whole array is frozen.
