H80 w/ WC loop or full custom loop?

Thread Starter
Was wondering what your guys opinion would be.
I've recently been debating between an h100 or just going with Rasa kit since I am considering WCing some SLI 480s or 580s later.

But was curious if using just an H80 to cool the CPU with a loop for the GPUs to sort of simplify things would work as well as something like a full loop with a 360 & 240 (120 maybe?) rad for the CPU and GPUs.

Also your opinion on a case would be great, current running a HAF 922. Have been thinking of either 932 or HAF X, whichever would fit 2 rads better.
Or a NXZT phantom, maybe xigmatek elysium.

Ha, lots of choices I know but thats my issue, any opinions would be great, thanks a lot guys.

P.S. - First time WCing but fairly tech savvy.

Get 6970s over 480s, just saying. Also, a Rasa kit wouldn't do both of those cards, so just get an h80 or h100, and a nice loop for the cards.

The H80 is $100 right now on newegg. A block that he can hook up to his GPU loop would cost $50. Getting an H80 is a waste of money.

A 360 rad should handle a dual gpu + cpu rig rather well, with the right fans and rad.

Not the Rasa rad though, also, a nice GPU block costs like 100USD.

You said to get a GPU loop and a H80. I said get a GPU loop and skip the H80.

H80 costs $100, regular CPU block costs $50.

I was mostly thinking of just getting the H80 because I'm not sure how long it'll be until i do WC my GPUs and itd be easy to just throw in and then later just add a WC loop for the GPUs, unless the full WC loop would provide better noticeably temps for the CPU as well.

I was thinking of grabbing a BI GTX X 360 rad with push/pull which im fairly sure wouldn't fit in a 932 or haf X

But if a RX360 rasa will be enough to hand all I'm looking to do that might be an easier option, and fit better.
Is that what your running for your CPU+GPUs jambor?
