What is a basic cheap but reliable mouse?

I'm not looking for some fancy gaming mouse or anything (yet). I basically want a mouse that is laser/wireless. Something that is comfy like has rubber grips or something. Right now I am using a mouse similar to this one:
WirelessIntelliMouseExplore.jpg
It has served its purpose but now after many hours of shooters (years) the left click is starting to fail me.

If possible please recommend a mouse (might as well suggest a mouse pad also) that isn't so fancy that it is like more than $100. The one I have i'm pretty sure was around $20-50.

Edit- This mouse worked great with shooters (as i was used to it)
The mouse I want will be intended for gaming but doesn't necessarily have to be since it will work.

Logitech G500 or Sidewinder x8. Both are wireless, I believe.

I like the shape of the Logitech G500. But it is wired.

can't guarantee that the mx518 will be on sale (unless they are trying to get rid of stock) but you can expect to see great prices on good quality mice around then. also remember death adders on sale 2 years ago....

and amazon usually price matches on black friday deals so that's how i got my mx518 w/out tax

The cheapest decent mouse is the classic Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical which goes for around ten bucks.

DeathAdder (around 50 or so) is pretty good and has a shape similar to classic Microsoft mice.

I guess I'll get the deathadder. I love the design and shape of the mouse. If there's something very similar to it that's cheaper that would also be great.
