Well, I'm an Nvidia Fan boy truthfully in my heart. I like AMD/Intel Just the same. AMD just has a better price point so they're more or less my first pick.

Well, the 2500K Yes, does provide some great performance, but I don't see it staying on the market for much longer before Ivy Bridge is released, or Sandy Extreme.

I guess technically Im an AMD fanboy, but Im not stupid. If I cant get a chip thats worth the money from AMD i would go Intel in a second. And the 2500K is that chip, so Bulldozer better bring it!

Now is a bad time. BD is coming, wait for it. If you meant upgrade on AM3, and not AM3+ or Intel, I say save your money. I wanted to upgrade from my current to a phenom ii but was told not to, and i'm kinda glad I didn't.
