Windows Aero Visual Issue

Thread Starter
I'm having a strange issue relating to Windows Aero in Windows 7. The top of windows that would normally be see-through now has a strange elongated checker-like effect. It happens with all windows. It's very noticeable on primary windows and slightly less visible on background windows. I updated Windows today, possibly an update caused this to happen.

Here's a screenshot:

Thanks for any ideas.

EDIT: Okay, I restarted again and everything is normal now. I'm still very curious about what this was and what caused this though... It seems the only times I have problems with my computer, the problems are very strange and rare.

Sounds like a failing video card .. or video card overclock perhaps?

Hmmm... I don't know about that. It's not overclocked, temps are nice and cool, and I'm using the newest drivers. I've never had an issue before, this was just a strange incident. Don't think my card is dying.
