Logitech MX518 - DPI resets to 800 on boot

Thread Starter
By default my mouse has 3 DPI levels, 400, 800 and 1800. I have set it to 1800 but every time I boot, reboot or resume from hibernation (the latter is what I do most of the time) my mouse goes back to 800 DPI.
Is there a way to set it always at 1800 without using the Logitech software?
This isn't a problem since I just need to press the "+" button but still a bit annoying. biggrin.gif

I've used the 518 for years, and don't believe there is any way to do what you want besides installing drivers.

I use the software with my G5 but check "Always use OS settings", that's the only way I found the stop the friggin sudden changes in DPI and unresponsivness of my + / - buttons.

Perfectly normal. If it really bothers you just install the drivers.
