If SS really cares about a specific audience, I believe that they have power to make a succesful marketing campain explaning that DPI is not a metric that represents sensor quality. But they prefer to make money. I don't blame them.
OCN is the reference mouse forum (imo). We can make a campain that clearly explains all that BS. I'd be glad to help. Being the "reference" forum I think we could reach a lot of people.
Hey, we did that. I did that. Repeatedly. No one listened. In fact no one even really helped out as I was getting clobbered by hired help on Ars Technica and other forums.

- Read the comments. To both articles. I didn't exactly get a lot of support.. In fact the perception was that I was selling snake oil and that because I work for a company I am inherently incapable of telling truth.
