How do I/we identify the right persons "most obsessed with input fetish"?

I would be fine with total transparency and with the results of the tests being shared with everyone here, which should allow everyone to make any purchasing decision based on the right data. I only ask that this test information is shared when I formally announce the mice, not prior to the announcement date.

Ideally I would like this person to be selected by the community here, but I have no idea what mechanism or process that would make sense for this selection. I am very open to ideas and suggestions.

I'd like to suggest Derp and/or Skylit and/or Bullveyr, those guys really know their mice. I'd volunteer myself biggrin.gif , but the Kana is going to be too small for my big hands, if it's like the Kinzu. Even the Xai was a little too narrow for me, while the Ikari was close to perfect.

Yeh Derp and Bullveyr would be good testers as well.

BTW Kimrom is the Kana the same size as the kinzu?

I guess I would be the most obsessed with input fetish been through atleast 27 gaming mice but I'm not as obsessed with perfection as derp

If theres the slightest bit of prediction I won't say its the worst sensor EVER though I will mention its there, same with jitter, acceleration or a lower perfect control speed

Also a mouse-junkie here, probably have 40-50 (not all gaming caliber, maybe half of them, but dating back to early (1980's) ball-mice, and the first opticals, first lasers, through to present day offerings); my wife says I should open a museum, LOL. I've done a couple of Frankenmice, and numerous mouse repairs / minor mods for friends and clanmates. As a EE, I'm a pretty critical thinker and I know what's going on inside a mouse.

I would vote for derp.

Also, kim, could you confirm if the kana has side buttons or not?

For reasons very much beyond my (and our) control, I unfortunately don't think firmware updates are possible. It's a long story and not one that we are happy with. Apologies but the best workaround I can think of would be to have one setting at 400, the other setting at 401 (to use your example values). While I fully realize that this is not ideal, it is the only option I can think of right now.

That sucks, but thanks for the response. I also forgot to mention John gave me a reset tool to reset my Xai back to 1.2.179 (which works for me for now), so I think I'll just stick with this.
