Derp would be a great choice to test the mouse. He's one of the few unbiased people on the forums.

Hi Kim Rom, I too would like to know the approximate size of the Kana. I tested out a Xai, and found it fine, if the Kana is around that size, I would be delighted. I'm seriously considering a DeathAdder Black Edition, but I'm worried about the LoD because I play DotA.

BTW, I think communicating to consumers on forums relating to your products is a great thing. Any word on whether a QcK with woven sides (mines beginning to fray) will come out (if ever)?

P.S I vote for Skylit/Derp/Bullveyr. It's my first post, but I've been lurking around here for ages.

How do I/we identify the right persons "most obsessed with input fetish"?

I would be fine with total transparency and with the results of the tests being shared with everyone here, which should allow everyone to make any purchasing decision based on the right data. I only ask that this test information is shared when I formally announce the mice, not prior to the announcement date.

Ideally I would like this person to be selected by the community here, but I have no idea what mechanism or process that would make sense for this selection. I am very open to ideas and suggestions.

Derp or Skylit. Very cool btw!

Hey guys, I am a new member from Germany and my English isn't very good. Hope you can read it. biggrin.gif
First @ Kim Rom: Mate, I think its just great that you communicate with the Costumers, and I am very pleased for this. I dont know other companys which do that, but I am new in gaming-mouse-topics. I bought my first gaming mouse for 1 month. It was a G500 and now my mother has it, because its too "ergonomic" for me. Now I'm waiting for the Kana and Sensei. I've tested the Kinzu and Sensei in the Shop and the feeling was just great. But I've read some things about bugs and so on, so I wait for your new mice.
And by the way, I think nearly every mouse, if Razer, Roccat or whatever is not perfect. From that what I read I think Steelseries is a very good company for mice, and I dont know why, but I just like your Company. wink.gif

Ok, but now to my offtopic question:
I bought a QcK R.U.S.E but it's too slick/sleek/smooth for me.
I'm searching for a mouspad from Steelseries, but I have to say that I dont find helpful informations on your homepage or shoppage.
I've read about the "Mass" the "Heavy" the "NP+" etc..
I aksed many people in many threads, but I still have no idea and no money to buy a mousepad which is not good for me. And there is no shop in my city to test one. Shame on you, Hamburg!

So I ask you, Kim Rom, about tipps for a mousepad. It would be awsome for me, if I would get a tipp from you for my new mousepad. biggrin.gif

It should be:

- a clothpad
- not so slick/sleek/smooth (hope there is a right word)
- more rough
- thick
- soft would be fine, too
- It should work with the Sensei or Kana, because I will definitely test them! i just like your mice more then other. smile.gif

I prefer light mice and I am a low-sense player.

Please help me, because then I realy know which mouspad will be mine. People which I asked say much, but they dont say the same things about Mousepads.

I hope you could read my text. wink.gif

Sincerely,

Max from Hamburg

Edit: One last importand question: Will there be a mouse with 3 dpi-steps?

Kim Rom, I registered here just to say I appreciate your passion and honesty for us hardcore competitive gamers! I hope you guys make a cheaper mouse that is more tailored to us, which would have the latest and greatest sensor with the best aiming, no prediction, and no acceleration in the future, with the xai/kinzu/sensei style shape perhaps, or even the ikari/Deathadder shape. If the Kana isn't the mouse I just described.

Keep making mice that sell, but don't forget to make the cheaper ones that everyone here at overclock.net will appreciate more smile.gif

If theres the slightest bit of prediction I won't say its the worst sensor EVER though I will mention its there, same with jitter, acceleration or a lower perfect control speed
I suggest we lay that Kana in the middle of a ring and you two fight for it. biggrin.gifwink.gif

To be more serious: get some more nominations (and applications) and then make a poll

PS: thx guys but I think some else should do that "job" smile.gif
