SteelSeries Sensei - Page 41

The mouse software freezes my mouse, it has to be uninstalled in order to use the mouse.
I got home from work and now the mouse doesn't work at all. >.>

For those who like the rubber finish of the xai, stay away from the sensei. Especially if you have sweaty hands. I couldn't get used to it and am having to sell it on ebay atm. Other than that, the lift off distance adjustment is great and the tracking is very similar to the xai.

Sometimes my Sensei takes a few seconds to load when my computer boot reaches the desktop. Anyone else have that "sometimes"?

That could have something to do with the drivers loading at startup. I think it happens to me with the Xai. I could be wrong.

According to hiiya the sensei is good on the hayate pad. But from what i have read avago 9500 on cloth is a no go.

I hear cloth no only has positive acceleration but also negative and jitter.

I thought they said to have fixed that

So this mouse is getting ready to get sent back.

First the software prevented me from using the mouse [cursor froze with the software installed], my others others still worked fine.
When I returned home the other day and it was basically dead [only the LCD screen lit up - blank] and when I actually got it to work the lights would start randomly flashing.
Now it's stuck upgrading [Upgrading ... V1.13]

Any ideas before I give up and send it back?

I love everything about this mouse... when it works.

I've tried 4 other mice on my computer, they all work, the Sensei does not.
At the time I took the picture it was plugged in, no lights were on, LCD was on but blank. Before it was saying "Updating ... V1.13"

Edit: After re-plugging the damn thing a hundred times I finally hit my head and am now bleeding. Awesome.

What? Are you serious? I suggest you should return this mouse and tell Steelseries that you want another Sensei mouse or you can return this mouse permanently. Sometimes a high technology mouse gets too much trouble too. Luckily I did not buy this mouse, gaming mice nowadays cause too many problems.
