Has anyone else experienced noticable lag when switching between profiles using the exe triggered profile changer? For me anytime I change focus between windows with a different profile associated to it my mouse will hang for 1-2 seconds then continue normally. It is not too huge of a problem, but it can get quite tiresome if there is a lot of alt tabbing involved.

Anyone experiencing/have solutions to this problem?

I really like this mouse, but based on my experience, I think it's safe to say that a lot of these have hardware issues. I'm on my second malfunctioning Sensei, and I've got to say that I'm pretty annoyed. Let me explain:

I had bought this mouse pretty much as soon as it was available. After using it for a few months, I noticed that whenever I would middle-click links in any browser, two new tabs would be created. I tested this on multiple machines and came to the conclusion that it was a hardware double-clicking issue with the middle button. I contacted SteelSeries support, and they promptly set me up with an RMA in which I had to pay to ship.

About a week and a half later, I received a brand new boxed Sensei (thanks SteelSeries!). It's been about 2 weeks since, and a couple of days ago, I noticed that the backlight on the LCD was out. After contacting support AGAIN, they asked to check if it was directly connected to the computer, to update firmware, etc...All things that I have already tried multiple times. I tried them again anyway and the light is still out. I let them know, and I've been waiting more than a day for their reply back.

Picture of the LCD. If you look closely, you can make out the SteelSeries logo. It's hard to see without the light.

As you can imagine, I'm pretty aggravated by this whole situation. Let me just say that I'm in no way dissatisfied with SteelSeries' support, because they're doing great as of now (other than the fact that it's taking a while to reply back...), but I've never been in a situation where I needed to replace a piece of hardware twice. I really hope they at least take care of shipping for the trouble I'm going through...mad.gif

I bought the Sensei a few days ago and first impression was that it was a great mouse. And then yesterday, for some unknown reason, the mouse stopped reacting to changes in the software. Copenhagen villa, we have a problem.

I don't know if I've done something, but I can change speeds, profiles and lightcolours in the software, but the mouse just doesn't react. FFS!

Those who have trouble with the driver of this mouse, I have to say that you're unlucky...But it won't last forever, so don't be so serious men !!! smile.gif

My issue isn't with the driver at all. The Sensei that I have now functions great, but the LCD is bad. There's nothing I can do to fix that. I'm still waiting to hear back from SteelSeries...

Then I think you should RMA it again, I shouldn't be any problem in this time man smile.gif

Quick question guys..

My sensai is working on my desk surface (wood), but not working on my mouse pad (either hard or soft)

Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

Thanks!
