the sensei RAW doesn't support this features. they are disabled by default.
at least my steelseries engine doesn't show anykind of those options.

Yep removed that after realizing the graphs I was commenting on was pasted wrong. Now just the graphs exist. smile.gif

Edited to add: Steel Series doesn't make it easy on their web site to differentiate between their mice specs. Specs are layed out a little differently here or there without consistency. Thus I can see why others find it hard to figure out.

How big is the unadjustable LOD on Sensei RAW then?

yep, really true.
its a very much marketing dominated way of presenting their product.
would like to have a detailed specs site, too.

Picked up a Sensei b/c it was on sale locally. Like the feel of it but the Engine software is giving me headaches.

Anyone know how to delete the extra on-board profiles? I can only have one. Initially there were five, the first dedicated to the engine and the other four I'm assuming were slots.

I've tried creating new on-board profiles but can't delete them from the mouse. Tried the LCD menu too. Now I've got five, first is the engine, second is the one I want, and the other three I called New Profile thinking that once they were assigned I could delete them.

If you have the software installed, you shouldn't be able to edit things from the LCD screen and on the mouse. Only the software would work. I think you can't delete the extra ones, only edit or save on top of them. I had three saved up but it would only switch from the mouse after I've uninstalled the software and ran them directly from the mouse.

For me I created a profile for Halo 4 and less than a minute into the game I lost control of the mouse. It was the same behavior earlier when I forgot to select my Halo 4 profile as the default (via the LCD) and was playing on the engine profile. Only thing I can think of is that somehow during that minute of game play it switched from the Halo 4 profile to the engine one.

Something else I can't figure out is that with the software I can't set precise exactlift levels. With the LCD I can set mine to 5% but with the software it gives 3% or 7%. If I type in 5% it changes it to 3%.

Any particular cloth pads that should be good for Sensei? Artisan pads are probably good but I don't feel like ordering, I would like it to be something fairly common so I can get it from a local computer shop.

The OcK+ and Heavy from SS has been fine for me.

I think I have read all threads containing "Sensei" or "MLG" in this forum but I still have some questions regarding the Sensei MLG. Maybe someone here knows?

1. I read in the AVAGO data sheet that the ADNS-9800 has "Resolution up to 8200 cpi with ~200 cpi step". If this was true it would be a major disadvantage for me, as i am using 450/ 500dpi. So is it true?

2. What are the changes apart from the sensor? More flexible cord, other feet, darker coating, MLG-logo and new switches - did I miss something?

3. How much better are these new switches?

I can answer 2 & 3. The Steel Series Sensei series original, Fnatic & MLG all have the same pro grade laser & switches according to Steel Series support. I had that same question. The main difference is the CPI.

Your correct on the braided cord being different on the MLG than the original & Fnatic. The mouse feet are the same across the three mice.
