You should experiment with it. I did kinda like it in some fps games where you change between different kind of weapons and then to a sniper weapon

I'll have to try that out. Right now I have some mouse pads lying around and maybe someone here can give some input as to which would be the best to use.

my sensitivity is 1170/1 (14 inches / 360)

I'm currently using a QCK+, but I also have a goliathus extended control edtion (about as wide as my desk), and finally, a SS 4HD

I've heard that the 4HD/9HD are really good for the 9500 sensor, but I'm not sure if I like the idea of using the hard pad as the feet wear down much faster. so I guess it's a tossup between the QCK+ and the goliathus control. is the plain design of the QCK+ or the elaborate design of the control better?

Picked up the Sensei Pro a few days ago. The minor accel and additional side buttons for left-handers took a bit to get used to and really annoyed me in the beginning, but now I love the mouse.. find it much more comfortable than my deathadder (which was a beast BTW lasting 6 years before I decided to retire it). Paired it with a Corsair MM400 pad and love it

Can anyone tell me what the point of freemove is? Should I turn it on for FPS/RTS games?

Freemove is the amount of prediction or angle snapping. It is a preference, but for FPS I prefer to have it off for those minute movements

I just switched a few days ago from the QCK to a 4HD and it's a night and day difference. On the 4HD it glides effortlessly, and it tracks much better than on the QCK. I read about the differences, but I wasn't expecting to be this much. I don't worry about the feet wearing out faster on the hard pad, because it feels much lighter than on the cloth. even if they wear out, I think you can buy new skates for it.

I use the 4HD with my Fnatic and its tracking is superb. I didn't think I could replace my Razer Vespula which I let the kids use with the Mamba.

As for feet I wouldn't worry. Steel Series has feet replacement for the Sensei line. I don't see it wearing any faster than the QCK.

I see your new to OCN posting, Welcome aboard. smile.gif

How does this mouse track on the C4 Ngen?

This might sound kinda dumb but my 128x32 bitmaps won't save. It displays after I hit save but if I change the profile or restart the computer the bitmap is gone and I have to re-upload it from the engine software. It's totally useless but I still want it to save the pics.

Anyone else have this happen?

Another few things I noticed is after leaving the PC for a while (plus 30 mins or more), the mouse doesn't turn the lights off? Why not? Shouldn't there be an "inactive use, turn off leds" type thing programmed in?

Also, I have the engine software installed plus 3 test profiles saved on the mouse. It seems whenever I restart my PC it doesn't remember which profile I was using last and always goes back to default? Kind of a pain.

Glad I didn't pay much for the mouse.

Edit: Lastly, I love how this mouse can save user data so you can use your settings on any PC... But when gaming at home and you need a quick adjustment on the fly you can make the changes on the mouse but it doesn't push those changes to the PC when you exit the game. Would be nice to see that too...
