SteelSeries Sensei - Page 60

I like the Sensei even i have way better sensor mice at home. (Zowie FK Deathadder and more)
-Like the mouse button m1 and m2 buttons and the shape is good for my hands/grip ,flat and wide and long.
-This the only mouse i can use without getting enormous pain in my hand.

-Change dpi and LOD on the mouse ,without needed any driver & can use thick mousefeet.
-Decent sensor ,not really feel that big accelaration on my scarab mousepad in dota 2. Only not use a good optical after it then you know you have accel^^.
-On board memory .setup once done forever. The dpi also stays in my UEFI bios.

-Dont like the coating
-Front side button out of reach with my grip.
-Prefer good optical in it.
-Dont like steps of 90dpi increment.

My opinion about it ,still search a allmost identical mouse.
Not really like to stay with the same mouse every year.

Is there any other mouse thats flat ,wide ,long ,has onboard, around 1000 dpi or custom, omron s and a good sensor?

Yes + this !

this is the reason why it is in RMA if it didnt fix it im really gonna ask for a refund.

But it's obvie that shape is user dependent. It's not very light though.

I believe they're developing a wireless Sensei. They had a survey going around on their facebook group asking for public opinion.

this sounds bad.
i like my sensei raw a lot more after i got it set up but i'm still looking for a better ambi optical replacement. probably zowie fk now that its more available in the usa.
i like the size, shape and switches of the sensei very very much. if they could throw a nicer sensor in there and lighten the mouse a bit they would have a real winner. not sure whats up with this wireless business, seems like a waste to me if that's true.

Are the switches different than the original Sensei? I tried the sensei (not raw) and found the switches to be too stiff for high APM games (SC2).

they are the same switches that are in the vanilla sensei, the one you tried.
they are stiffer than some other omrons i've tried, like in my xornet and the nascita i used to have but i like the amount of feedback they give back. its hard to misclick.
i play a ton of dota and starcraft 2 as well and like the sensei for those games. im diamond in sc2 my avg apm is 150 but i've played a few games where i've gotten 320apm.

i'm about to get my zowie fk tomorow so ill let you know how those switches feel compared to the sensei if you're still in the market for a mouse.
