The deal is i wouldn't buy the Fatal1ty (hypocresy any1? ) because, as far as i know, there are less games optimized fr the X-RAM than games optimized for PhysX. Given the PhysX games are like 15 or less, imagine the games optimized for X-RAM. Only ones on the top of my head are UT2004 and UT3.

I'd buy the Titanium.
Supposedly the black casing on the Fatal1ty blocks EMI from your other components, although I seriously doubt it makes any real difference.

I would spend the extra $15 on the Fatal1ty over the Titanium as a cosmetic upgrade. I've spent more on GPU backplates and the "X-Fi" light up on the Fatal1ty case looks cool.

I have a PCI Fatal1ty, and i bought the PCI-E w/frontal panel for my dad's. I got mine for real cheap, and he needed the front access ports.

the X-Fi light is sort of "meh" after a while, plus it clashes with my case lightning (everything is blue but the card, might mod it later). Plus in a closed case it is a moot point. And EMI isn't noticeable unless you live close to a cellphone tower or have a microwave at the computer's side.

You could spend the $15 on the cosmetic side tho. And GPU backplates do serve for cooling/not making the card break wth the HSF, something this card does not need

So even though it's a 7.1 card... I'll notice a drastic difference with my 2.1 setup?

Thanks.

Since the flow of electrons creates a magnetic field, all electronics produce some EMI. The main source of EMI in a PC case is the PSU, but it is shielded so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm just saying, the case has a theoretical purpose. Like the GPU backplate for cooling which I've haven't seen make a noticable difference in temps.

Even if 2.1, it will sound better, but by how much depends on your audio gear.
