It says that it's bootable, so I assume you can install an OS on it, whether it's any good is a different question. I'd say it depends on the flash media you put into it really.

I'd just stick with a 2.5" momentus XT if you want near SSD speeds in a laptop.

I just i doubt i will buy it i was just curious and though i would share it will OCN might be good for people doing video editing and want to back up the CF cards

IMHO the way to go for backing up CF cards is $2-4 card readers.

It's worth noting that CF-SATA adapters are so expensive because of the adapter chip. CF was actually designed to be pin-compatible with PATA, so CF-PATA adapters are only a couple dollars by comparison.
