[INQ]UK considers banning rioters from BBM, Twitter and Facebook - Page 3

I mean, it's not like they just busted into some old lady's house and gunned down her and her entire family. This guy was a target in an investigation cracking down on gun crime. There was a gun recovered from the scene (though I think the latest consensus is that it wasn't fired) carried by a man with gang affiliations. I understand both endsof the spectrum of what drives people to crime and the necessity for a police force, but the aftermath of this killing was not warranted. These situations are high risk for police officers (I have two family members in the police force, one retired from NYC and one serving in Nassau County police on Long Island) and subsequently the suspects. If you're carrying a piece in Britain, don't expect to be treated like a citizen where the majority of officers don't even carry firearms.

While I agree they should have privileges removed; removing their benefits would probably force them into more criminality to keep themselves afloat. My answer - deportation to North Korea.

Both sides are to blame here. The rioters for committing the crimes to get answers, taking advantage of the situation for their own personal greed, the police for having such a poor reputation with the people they're suppose to protect, shooting suspects, lack of any response when people demand answers, and the Government for taking away so many public services away.

It seems like everyone is an idiot this time around.

As for the "justice" system; it's laughable. Even from my own experience justice is extremely slow, if at all. This among many other reasons is why scum like this have no respect (or fear) of the law. Neither do i - but i would never go out and do the things these people are doing.

They do it because they can, end of. If they're unfortunate to get caught, the most they'll get is a slap on the wrist and they know it. A prison sentence is a dream here, and a criminal record is a badge of honour.

Wait wait, so one guy gets shot by the police and people riot for days, and it spreads to multiple cities?

This kind of crap happens all the time in the U.S. without massive rioting, unless it's like, Harlem.

So, uh, wat.

Haha, mate it's not only the shooting but a whole lot of other factors. Tensions between the Police and general public weren't good in the area to begin with.

These idiots rioting over in GB barely rate above animals in my mind. This is exactly what happens when institutionalized socialism runs rampant for half a century. These pathetic tools are all so dependent on the system that when the money runs out they act like stupid apes demanding bananas. An entire generation of scum that has no other priorities than their next meal and sexual encounter. Pathetic...
