Memtest86+ shows wrong frequency

Thread Starter
I just overclocked my RAM to 1600MHz on my P67A-GD65 (although I don't know why I had to, since it's 1600MHz RAM in the first place) and although CPU-Z reflects the new frequency, memtest86+ shows it at 600 MHz???

I would understand if it was 666 MHz since the memory is set to 1333 MHz by default but not 600 MHz. I also realized that the BCLK is 75 MHz???

Are these just bugs in memtest86+?

Memtest doesn't always reflect numbers accurately for me either. Make sure you are using the latest version as that has solved some issues. CPU-Z calculates the correct frequency my taking all factors into account. Memtest doesn't always calculate it properly based on the selected memory divider or the BIOS could be supplying the wrong information. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah it's the latest version (v4.20).

As long as those frequencies aren't right and memtest is actually working I'm fine with it.
