Noisy/Rattling XSPC X20 750 pump

Just set it up yesterday, and it was working fine, but when I woke up this morning it was making an awful rattling noise. I found it kinda odd as it worked just fine yesterday. I've seen that other people have had similar issues.

Bought this specifically for making my system more quiet, but this is even worse than having all my fans spinning at full speed ^^*

I have taken it out of the case to make sure it's not the vibrations.

RMA time?

Would hate to have to put my noctua back in.

Just contact XSPC with a video of your pump making noise, and they will most likely send you a new pump free of charge.

I've had mine going for nearly 3 weeks, and the pump is still quieter than the fans that came with the kit. I can barely hear it if I put my ear up to it, so yeah, I would contact XSPC.

How full is your res?

I filled it so it would cover the pump, so I guess there's about 1 cm left.

I recorded it with my camera, not too great quality, and it sounds more like a generator up that close but still shows how loud it is.

I also just contacted xspc, so now I will just have to wait. I ordered the kit from the US, though I'm located in Europe, would that make a difference?

Right on, I have a little bit more h20 than you in mine, but I think your level should be OK. That is loud though, are there any air bubbles or anything? can you try rotating it around to make sure there isn't any air stuck in there?

Air bubbles was what I was thinking at first, but I've done everything I could think of outside of draining it, and then refilling it again. Would have to buy more distilled water for that.

Compared to this one, yours sounds very loud.

EDIT: This one sounds more like yours, seems a tad common:

Hope mine doesnt do it. Let us know what XSPC say

Oh yeah, my X2O 750 had the same exact issue. All I did was contact XSPC, they asked for a video and I gave it to them, then the next day they had a brand new pump/res shipped out free of charge, they're great to deal with.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly the sound I got. It was more like the first one yesterday though. Hopefully they are willing to help. trying to get some better recording of it just in case they want it.

For now I'll just have to use my headphones to block the sound out.

Lol, yeah headphones sound better. Sounds like the customer service is really good. Just a pain for you i guess as you have to drain, fill and bleed air out again.
