No Bios means motherboard is about to die?

Thread Starter
The mobo i have is in the sig, and just recently i tried getting into BIOS by pressing DEL at start up, and it doesn't take me there. Once i press delete, its just a black screen with that blinking "UNDER SCORE" marker in the top left hand corner.... AND NOTHING happens. I have to hard reset it again.

Does this mean my mobo is screwed basically?

No, you probably just halted the windows start up by pushing delete to late or holding it down. Reset the CMOS, or take out the batter battery(spell-check is still not human) and reinsert, and try again. If the computer will boot into windows the BIOS is there. Try again.
