All going well *crosses fingers*, I will be going on tuesday and will be buying the following parts below to make my Sandy Bridge build! Im really excited at the prospect of getting hopefully a different experience with overclocking..and best of all I cant wait to be back to gaming and folding! (My current rig can do neither! )

So heres the parts to be bought on Tuesday 16/08:

I will be coupling them with some IC diamond thermal paste and a Prolimatech Megahalem with 2 fans for p/p.

Next month, ill be purchasing the following:

Thats when it gets really exciting as it wont be long til BF3 then and my new gtx 570 will shinee

Whats your opinions folks on the build? I appreciate the vertex 3 is having some issues, so we'll see come closer the time how that all pans out. As for Tuesday, ill buy running the new system caseless.

Looks good! Seems like you'll have a pretty nice rig when you put it all together. If the Vertex doesn't work out for you, the Crucial C300 is a great SSD. I got mine yesterday to replace the Intel 510 I originally got with this build to put it in the old build to replace the 64gb SSD it had.

yeah i used to have the vertex 2 and it was pretty decent, hoping to find a decent random read/write and 500mb/s transfer plus drive.

solid build..............

But I would advise you to change your PSU, GX 750 is not good, trust me.

My comp may have been power hungry, so I went with the Antec CP-1000. I've got it in both builds and the old one has been running for a year and a half now. No issues.

Re the gx750 that comes free with that case, so I'll sell it after

As for the seasonic, I only need around 500watts for the 570 and the 2500k

Honestly id go for a Crucial M4 at this point. Really reliable, and still epically fast. 100mb/s on the vertex is a noticeable improvement, but personally i would go with the more stable and reliable option, especially if i put my OS on there. Everything else looks good, though a 2gb 560Ti or even a HD6950 would be preferable in my opinion. vRAM gets eaten up faster than ever these days :/

IC diamond is awesome though
