Intel. Amd sucks. Inb4 you are fanboy. Intel I5 2500K>1100t in everything. Face it.

I much rather prefer Intel over AMD simply because in the beginning, Bill Gates went to Intel to make the processors for Windows. Now, years later, AMD joins in on Windows? No. Intel is the basic root of Windows and always has been, therefore Intel is way more optimized for Windows rather than AMD. Intel all the way. And no, I am not a fanboy, I own both systems.

Agreed. If i'm not already prepped for a specified upgrade path i go for whichever has the better price/performance which right now is intel. But i'm set for BD so i'll be picking that up when it hits shelves.

Even though Intel is the performance winner at the moment, I would grab a Gigabyte 990X/FX board and a mid-range CPU and swap the latter out when BD is released. I've been satisfied with the two AM3 AMD chips I'm using.
