Add to that fact that you hold a Special Forces 50 Caliber Sniper Rifle which can shoot extreme long distances accurately and you have the most deadly rifle ever made.

It's just too bad that the game makers can't see it that way, because body shots do not kill your opponent, unless they are badly hurt already, to me that's just WEAK!

Play 'Hardcore' and stop complaining.

Iunno what servers you guys play on, but on hardcore servers almost all of the sniper rifles are one shot one kill anywhere on the body. I've shot people in the leg and chest with the SV98 and have gotten one hit kills.

As far as range finders go, they do have them in BC2. It'l those dots on the 12x scope on your rifle. Aim at a spot down range and fire one shot to see where it lands. Then adjust your aim accordingly. Pretty soon you'll get to a point where you won't have to range in your shots anymore and will just know how many mills up you need to aim to hit a target.

Hopefully the sniper rifles stay the same as BF2 and BC2, that way all the people that say they won't buy the game because of that, won't. Less people tucked away in an attic or hill to take up 20 slots on the server. It really kills the gameplay.
