my guess is that OP is not from the USA, but still expects a package mailed to him for free to get there in a week.

The problem the OP has with the pad is that you are supposed to hang a little bit of the pad off the table, so that you dont rub the edge.

Every single cloth pad will do the same if you continue placing the pad right on the edge.

qck is good if you can find it cheap and you game for an hour or less a day but the problem with the qck is that the surface is horribly inconsistent after like 3 month. it gets flat spots where you mouse rolls a lot

i think i know the answer to this, but why didn't you want a talent? (desk space?)

Yeah, I don't have enough desk space to justify getting the talent. That sucks that the qck gets inconsistent so fast.

Actually, I live in Hawaii. USPS priority mail usually gets here within 5 days, sometimes even 3.

I've actually started to place the pad, where the edge hangs over. So far, so good.

Just wanted to update: Nick from Puretrak got back to me, and is going to resend me another Stealth pad, since the first one was sent back by the post office! They never left a not or anything, stating that I had a package waiting.mad.gif

Meh, it's just a mouse pad. It's not their fault you rub your arm on the edge of it and it starts peeling after extensive use.

You don't realize how common of an issue this is as I had mine replaced as well by Nick @ Puretrak. Not only that but there are several mouse companies who have already started making pads with anti-fray stitching around the edges. Why? Because tons of gamers use a low sensitivity, which naturally is going to cause rubbing against the edge of the pad with your wrist.

They're usually pretty good about responsiveness so maybe something is off. Posting in theIR forums will usually get someones attention also.

Same thing happened to my Puretrak Talent after a week. I didn't contact support, but I won't be buying any of there products anytime soon. It seemed like the fabric around the edges of the mouse pad were 'unfinished' and just started falling apart.

i think it should be pointed out that this issue will happen with any cloth pads that do not have the stitched edges if your constantly rubbing your wrist back and forth against the edges.

it'll happen on most any cloth pad, not just the puretrak pads. hang the pad slightly off the edge of your table and the problem is solved

Been using my QCK+ heavy for about 3 years now and the one before that I used for about 3-4 without any of them showing signs of weakness on the edges.

I tried the Fnatic QCK+ and the tracking wasn't nearly as good as the Talent IMO.

Lucky you. Some of us have to send multiple emails over many weeks to get a response.
