Need Tubing Tips anf fitting

Thread Starter
hi all

I have xspc rasa 750 rs240 (push and pull)

but have buy a thermaright flow tx plus to manage the water temp and flow activity.
The issue come the fiting and the tube size.

I can mix 2 type of tube and fitting in the same look.

Mandatory g1/4 from rad to monitor to reservory with g 1/4 to 3/8 in to use the monitor.
pump to block rad fitting g1/4 to 1/2.

or I have to ret all water to with 3/8 and take off all 1/2 setting to use the thermalright flow tx plus.

Thx for the help and time.

If you have to go to G3/8 for the monitor, easiest solution is to get a G1/4 to G3/8 adapter. Swapping to G3/8 loop is not the best solution.

Is that OK to mount the radiator above the case like that?

Your tubing is going to collapse w/o coils....

thx, but i want to know if the pump will have to too much work to handle.
this loop.

pump rasa 750 g1/4 to g1/2 tube g1/2 water block g1/2 tube g 1/2 radiator g3/8 tube g3/8 monitor g3/8 reservory + pump

what will happend at pressure inside the water loop if i will increase the risk of a broken tube or do it is safe.

really noob @ water cooling.

I don't see a problem with it. I have a loop with everything g1/4 and I am getting ready to put a g3/8 fitting in it. The water block is a much larger restriction as compared to the tubing in general.

I would put clamps on that water block tubing though.

Hes got clamps they are just hard to see. They are the black plastic ones that come with the kit it looks like.

OP: just out of curiousity, why do you have a flow meter? They actually can restrict flow over time especially if they fail. I also have heard of them failing completely and burning out pumps.

Just I wanted to know if there is water running inside the loop also the temp and it has alarm when the temperature inside the loop is to high scream. some times I don't see any a flow at but there is.(what if it get locked but the sound of it is there ) just heard the pump working and time to time have to move the PC to one side to other side and see if is there is a flow.

this is because I am planning to get a better radiator and get GPU water block for my video card and do a bigger loop

I read about loop with locked pump and they did not know about it. also they did not use a flow meter.

I think it is good I have check all curves of the tube and there is no pressure also the pump can boost water to 1.5 m and the pump is just down there. also the front part was modded to handle the tubes and that is why the rad is a bit upper so the tubbing won´t collapse.
