Where does this cable go? - Page 3

Okay, so, with your Power Supply you got one of these:

I would know - I have the exact same one.

What you can do is plug the connector you're asking about into the one above, and then plug the other, smaller end into the fan connectors on the motherboard.

There may be some kind of more direct route, but I'm not sure what it is.

I know that my motherboard has a built in male molex connector, try to look and see if yours has one. If not, just buy an adapter that goes with your PSU.

Escatore, That "Male Molex connector" on your motherboard is for power IN not power OUT!

You use it for giving your PCI Express slots extra power when running multiple high power draw cards.

Do not plug anything into it (Other than a molex FROM your PSU! tongue.gif)
Although unlikely, there might be a possibility of shorting your board:eek:

Wow. Don't I feel like an idiot.

Well, anyways, I edited my post. Although I'm like 99% sure I once plugged a female case fan power connector to it and the fan spun... MB still working fine...

I'll just go sit in a corner now, putting my foot in my mouth. But I'm pretty sure the connector that I posted above - the one that plugs into the fan port - should work right?
