330$ Rebate and what to do... (Bulldozer build?)

Thread Starter
I recently returned my Gigabyte 587UD (5870) that I had foolishly purchased to Crossfire with my old one, it died I guess you could say thankfully within 2 weeks. So it allowed me to take part of the shop I bought it from "instore credit".

Now I have 330$ rebate credit to work with and having not heard much on the price of FX-8150's I've only heard rumors about it being around this price.

Now that that it is going to be a likely option being that I can and could wait, I.E spending the rebate $ on other essential upgrade components, motherboard etc. Then purchasing the FX-8170? Is there going to likely be a big price difference between the models since the 8170 is suppose to replace the 8150?

And if anyone thinks I'm just plain crazy upgrading my system from what I have. (2 years old)

Now question is I do need to buy a new motherboard and likely memory... I'm having little Blu-screens finally as result of my Mix/Match memories at different timings and voltage requirements =\...

So, Motherboard + 16gb or 12gb or whatever or Memory is still about 300$. Now am I gimping my self by buying the 8150? Or would I be better off waiting for the 8170?

Oh and I know my cooler comes with an attachment for AM3+, but with a 125W CPU am I going to need more power like a Corsair H100 to get acceptable overclocking performance without going hardcore into the watercooling. Since H100 performs basically same as low-middle end watercooling loop.
