Found a Dell SK-1000REW

Thread Starter 
Its an old PS2 board and i think some of the keys might even be mechanical. I say this because I tried to pull them off like a normal dome keyboard and they were not very keen to move. They also have a pretty nice click.

Just wondering if this is mechanical or what I should do with it

It's a mediocre run of the mill rubber dome board.

It might be one of those Dell Quietkey keyboards. Quality varied amongst different generations of that keyboard, but the early ones are widely considered to be good rubber dome boards.

The Made in Thailand RT7D5JTW models are the good ones. Not quite sure if they're the earlier ones. Most of the SK Quietkeys are mediocre.

wow, just found this thread. I found the same keyboard in a box, I don't even know how I acquired it. But If you pop the keys off, it might have been an older mechanical keyboard? The switches are white, so I think it's an Alps tactile keys? Here are some pics. It's a good thing I checked before I threw it away. It def. feels a lot better than my Logitech G110 board and heavier.
