Mouse Issue in ASUS P8P67 EFI BIOS ... - Page 3

I had this issue as well, you just need to switch to a wired mouse while in the EFI BIOS as some wireless mice don't work correctly. For example mine only moves up and down (if I move left to right)

Also, I have been able to make all changes using the keyboard so far, so you don't have to have a mouse.

Just use USB 2.0 ports, instead of 3.0, and your issues will be solved completely.

Eh, dunno then, do you have 2 USB controllers into BIOS? if yes try with the one your not using atm, it should be Nec & PCH.

I had the drifting mouse in bios issue with my p8p67 deluxe with a g700 mouse and a Microsoft wireless keyboard. I replaced the Microsoft wireless unit because I read on another forum (asus) that there is a known compatibly problem with Microsofts wireless receivers which cause this. It's not the actual keyboard or mouse, It's the receiver itself. I still use the Logitech G700 wireless mouse but I replaced the keyboard and have no more bios drifting.
