Thanks smile.gif

btw, you can easily do a model compare at the Asrock website itself eg. Z68 E7 G3 vs Z68 Fat Pro G3

ASRock > Products > Motherboard Series > Models Compare

Mac, I have a question..
Is it true that Extreme7 only has 1 PCIE 3.0? Because the other gen3 models from Asrock have 2 PCIE 3.0 ..

It's bugging me so much because what if I want to xfire/sli HD7xxx series or gtx 6xx series? Will it affect the performance so much because the first card run in PCI3.0 and the other doesn't?

From the latest info given, it seems confirmed that there is only 1 PCI-e 3.0 slot on the E7 - see the updated mobo layout below.

Earlier info given was confusing and contradictory, to say the least.

I do not like the pci slot position, but I dont care about SLI... just love the colors and the good power section.

i am having strange problems when overclocking. Automatic settings work like a charme, but as soon as i start to configure stuff in the OC Tweaks manually boot fails completely and i dont even get a screen. Also sometimes the system restarts right before i enter UEFI.
