Before you get the Hyper 212+ just make sure it fits in your case. Its crazy big compared to any stock cooler.

I bought the Coolermaster n520 for $40. brought the temps down a ton compared to the stock fan. With the Stock fan i would hit temps in the 90s if i tried to run prime95 at stock speeds. with the n520 i have yet to see 70. maxes out about 66 but hovers under 60 most of the time during stress testing with an i5 760 @4.0ghz OC. I was going to buy the hyper 212+ but microcenter did not have it in stock. either one of the 2 would be fine.

if you want a temp comparison i used to get around 70C on stock cooling at 100% running prime. After getting a new cooler and overclocked by 1ghz w/o the fans running 100% i get mid 60s to 70C depending on how hot my room is
