Can I return gtx 560ti after overclocking it?

Thread Starter
Its a MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II 1 GB and I overclocked it for about a week just to see how high I can get it then I put it back at default and never messed with it again. Now 2 months later one of the fans wont spin it just tries to and makes a buzzing / humming sound.

Can I still send it back and get a new one? If not can I take it to frys or something and have them fix it?

You can as long as you don't tell them that you overclocked it.

Yea they'll send you a new one or fix yours.
MSI doesn't really ask questions

You're fine. These cards are meant to be overclocked; I'm sure if you looked through the MSI TOS you;d find that as long as you didn't like give it enough electricity to power the Delorean in Back to the Future, you're fine for an RMA.

Overclocking doesn't void your warranty unless you have a problem that is directly caused by the overclocking and it's not the case so you will be fine.
